Dear Sir or Madam;
Etowah Sewer Company WWTP (NC0071323) was in Non -Compliance for a weekly BOD
violation on April 16, 2020. During the week of April 13, 2020 Etowah experiences an heavy rain
event (4.5") which cause flooding condition throughout Etowah and at Etowah WWTP. The flooding
at Etowah WWTP was cause due to infiltration which cause an increase in flow, which cause a
decrease in detention time throughout the plant. To correct the problem Etowah Sewer Company need
to do an Infiltration study and repair any and all major leaks_
