D The sample was ahalyzed at dilution. J The reported value is between the laboratory method detection limit (MDL) and the laboratory method reporting limit (MRL), adjusted for actual sample preparation data and moisture content, where applicable. U The analyte was analyzed for but not detected to the level shown, adjusted for actual sample preparation data and moisture content, where applicable. E The concentration indicated for this analyte is an estimated value above the calibration range of the instrument. This value is considered an estimate. MRL Method Reporting Limit. The MRL is roughly equivalent to the practical quantitation limit (PQL) and is based on the low point of the calibration curve, when applicable, sample preparation factor, dilution factor, and, in the case of soil samples, moisture content. PQL PQL: Practical Quantitation Limit. The PQL presented is the laboratory MRL. N The analysis indicates the presence of an analyte for which there is presumptive evidence (850/a or greater confidence) to make a "tentative identification". P Greater than 25% concentration difference was observed between the primary and secondary GC column. The lower concentration is reported. [CALC] Calculated analyte - MDL/MRL reported to the highest reporting limit of the component analyses. Q-01 Analysis performed outside of method - specified holding time. QR-06 The RPD value for the LCS/LCSD was outside of QC acceptance limits. FINAL This report relates only to the sarnp'e as received by the laboratory, and may only be reproduced in full. When results are below the applicable limits, they must be reported in the format. "<XX melV where XX is the numerical value of the detection limit, reporting limit, etc. in mg/L. Conversely, where fecal coliform results exceed the dilution upper limit, report the result as ">W. !Vote: if you report a sample value in excess of the benchmark, you must implement Tier 1, Tier 2, or rer 3 responses. Orange County is currently in Tier Il monitoring for the facility due to high TSS. There were several measurable storm/rain events during the month of March 2020. A sample was collected from each of the two outfalls at the start of the rain event on :March 25, 2020 approximately 30 minutes after it had begun. The sampling results over the last twelve months for the outfalls have shown high levels of e coli following periods of low rainfall. Results indicate that the C&D outfall and the MSW outfall exceed the threshold for fecal coliform. The results of the analysis are entered on the enclosed Storm water DMR reporting form as well as copies of both analyses. The MSW outfall has an exceedance for TSS. The two landfills are surrounded by heavily wooded areas and wildlife is frequently spotted on the landfill property which is the only way to explain fecal coliform presence in the discharge from C&D and MSW outfalls. The C&D landfill only accepts construction and demolition debris which should not be a source that would lead to the presence of fecal coliform. The presence of fecal coliform in the MSW outfall is most likely from the wildlife as well as the MSW landfill was officially closed in July 2013 and officially capped with. a subtitle D final landfill cap. The exceedance for TSS is most likely the result of the rare rainfall events and the required mowing of the closed landfill cover. Orange County continues to monitor the installed BMP's that help to control the amount of onsite erosion and subsequent discharge of contaminated water. This includes monitoring of the growth of our vegetative cover and minimizing the amount of disturbed land.
