Inspection Summary:
On May 26, 2020 WSRO staff made a site visit to the subject facility for review associated with the Permittee's proposed
groundwater monitoring plan. Mr. John Grey -PE (The Wooten Company), Mr. Lyndal Butler -PG (S&ME), Mr. Terry
Lewallen-ORC (Suez), and Mr. Jim McIntosh (Town of Ramseur) accompanied staff on the site visit.
The Permittee is planning to submit a proposal to install one downgradient monitoring well at or beyond the Review
Boundary and one upgradient monitoring well. Consultants showed staff two potential areas where the proposed monitoring
wells may be installed (one upgradient and one downgradient). The ORC verbally discussed a potential alternative location
for the upgradient monitoring well. The exact proposed locations have not been determined yet. The exact locations of the
two monitoring wells will be shown in the proposal that is submitted to the Division on or before August 1, 2020.
*Follow-up site visit may be required depending on the final proposed locations versus the areas reviewed during the site
visit. See site map for the vicinity of the two areas reviewed during the site visit.
