The project is visible from HWY 421 beside the Dinkins Bottom exit, just across the Yadkin County line from Forsyth County. I'm sure we lost some sediment from the project, but the area surrounded the project were recently tilled for agricultural use, so it's hard to say how much sediment we might have lost from the project vs from the surrounding land use. I've attached some photos above of the project that were taken in late April, prior to the flood event. I'm hoping the photos will serve to show that we had appropriate EC measures in place. I've also attached a couple photos of what the project looks like today. I believe the latest reports suggest the river will crest mid -day today. As soon as it drops enough to get back in there we will fix / re -install all of our EC measures. Hopefully we will get some drier weather in the next few days.
