Comments:
There is no buffer impacts related to this project. We will be using treated lumber to
create a staircase that extends from the cypress ridge common area and terminates
above the water line. We will not alter or change anything in the area, there are no
trees or shrubs in the area that we propose to put the stairs so no removal of
anything in this protected area will be altered. We will create no impervious
structures or materials within the area.
D. Impact Justification and Mitigation
1. Avoidance and Minimization
1a. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts in designing the project.*
we will be using wood to ensure there are no impervious structures created in this
area. We will ensure that the end of the staircase stops at the water line. We will not
need to remove or alter any vegetation within this region to put the staircase in. No
sand/soil is needed to be brought in the area for this project; no alterations to the
protected area except for putting in a staircase.
1b. Specifically describe measures taken to avoid or minimize the proposed impacts through construction techniques.
We will not need to use any machinery or bring anything (e.g., dirt, soil, etc.) into
the area. Stairs will be built into the eAsting terrain with no changes to the existing
conditions.
