FOR THE PROPOSED GLENSFORD DRIVE (SR 1592)
WIDENING AND EXTENSION PROJECT

The North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) will hold the
above Citizens Informational Workshop on Tuesday, January 30, 2007 between
the hours of 4:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. at the Montclair Elementary School, 555
Glensford Drive, Fayetteville, 28314. Interested individuals may attend this
informal workshop at their convenience during the above stated hours. Please
note there will be no formal presentation.
The purpose of this workshop is for NCDOT representatives to provide
information, answer questions, and to receive any information and/or comments
from the public regarding this project. NCDOT proposes to widen Glensford
Drive (SR 1592) from Raeford Road (US 401) to Cliffsdale Road (SR 1400). The
project is about 1.4 miles long and involves widening Glensdale Drive to a multi-
lane roadway and extending it on new location to Raeford Road. The project may
also involve creating roundabout type of intersections throughout the project.
Additional right of way will be required to accommodate the proposed
improvements.

NCDOT will provide auxiliary aids and services under the Americans with

so that arrangements can be made.
