discharge into an existing 8" gravity sewer that bisects the property or the existing 8" scwcr oil east

Ted,
I beg and plead if you can do anything faster than 5-6 weeks. The CD's for this project were approved on January
29. The City of Durham and the County of Durham both moved at a snail's pace due to the malware that crashed both
their computer systems and then COVID delayed it even greater. We submitted the initial FTSA application to the City
the beginning of February. The City is not willing to issue any construction permits until the sewer permit is issued. I
asked the City if we could start with the construction and just not make the tie into the existing sewer until the sewer
permit is issued, but the City has not been willing to provide any compromise. The developer has a contractor on site
and has completed the initial grading work, installed on the stormwater devices, and started construction on the
retaining walls and now is stalled due to the sewer permit. I appreciate the fact that the delay has nothing to do with
your agency but I want to see if you can do anything to speed this up.
