NCG070089 and Invoice No. 2020PR004300
Warren,
I got your voice mail from yesterday. If the company no longer operates this site, you will either need to rescind the
permit, or transfer it to the new owner. You can find the rescission form on our website here, under the "Rescind an
Existing Permit" section:
https://deq.nc.gov/about/divisions/energy-mineral-land-resources/npdes-industrial-stormwater
A direct link to the rescission form is here. It must be printed, signed, and mailed to our office. Any new company
operating there now will have to apply for their own permit.
If a new company is operating it now, there is the option of ownership transfer. Both parties (old permittee and new
one) will have to fill out this form:
https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Name-Change
I am copying Deborah Reese to alert her that the Invoice number in the subject line is not being paid because of this
status. Depending on whether it is rescinded or transferred, the invoice may still apply to whoever is currently operating
there.
Please let me know if you have any further questions.

Based on the current guidance to minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Department of Environmental Quality has
adjusted operations to protect the health and safety of the staff and public. Many employees are working remotely or
are on staggered shifts. To accommodate these staffing changes, all DEQ office locations are limiting public access to
appointments only. Please check with the appropriate staff before visiting our offices, as we may be able to handle your
requests by phone or email. We appreciate your patience as we continue to serve the public during this challenging
time.
