Describe the existing land use or condition of the site at the time of this application:* We recently purchased this home in a developed neighborhood with an active and vigilant HOA. Our home has an existing dock and a shoreline that is steep and barren on its northern half. It southern half is less steep and more vegetated. All of our neighbors on all sides have existing riprap and/or sea walls to mitigate erosion. Ours currently has neither and is suffering considerable erosion as a result, especially on its steeper northern half. Residential, undeveloped, etc. 6. Pro pertySize 1.18 Acres 7. Describe proposed work (include discussion as to how hardening of shoreline has been avoided, or why it is necessary): We would like to install a six foot high by 50 foot wide section of riprap, three feet above waterline and three feet below, to prevent further erosion occurring on the northern half of our shoreline where it joins up with neighboring lot 103, which is already riprapped. 8. Please describe the vegetation above the normal pool lake level/ normal water level and 50 feet landward to be impacted:* (nurrber of trees, for instance) There is no existing vegetation in the area of the embankment to be riprapped, only bare dirt and sections of sloughed off rock slabs. We will not disturb the existing slabs of rock along this embankment. Rather, we will add to them with riprap in an effort to stabilize them. We will use wheelbarrows to bring riprap down to water's edge and will not disturb any trees or plants on the land between the shoreline and the end of our driveway, where the riprap will be dropped off.
