THIS DEED, made and entered into the 29th day of March, 1989,
by and between INEZ R. JACKSON, party of the first part, to the CITY OF WILSON,
a municipal corporation located in Wilson County, North Carolina, party of
the second part, whose mailing address is Post Office Box 10, Wilson, North
Carolina 27893;
W I T N E S S E T H:
That for and in consideration of the sum of TEN DOLLARS ($10.00)
and other good and valuable consideration to her in hand paid by the party
of the second part, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, the party
of the first part has bargained and sold, and does hereby bargain, sell and
convey unto the CITY OF WILSON, its successors and assigns, in fee simple,
that certain parcel or tract of land lying and being situate in the City of
Wilson, Wilson County, North Carolina, and more particularly described as
follows:

party of the second part, its successors and assigns, in fee simple forever.
For the consideration aforesaid, the party of the first part, for
herself, her heirs, executors, administrators and personal representatives,
hereby covenants to and with the party of the second part, its successors and
assigns, that she is seized of the above -described land in fee and has a good
right to convey the same in fee simple; that said parcel or tract of land is
free and clear of any and all encumbrances; and that she does warrant and will
forever defend the title thereto against the lawful claims of any and all persons
whomsoever.
BEGINNING at an iron stake on the easterlymost line of
Merrimont Subdivision, Section Four, which stake is the
southwesterly corner of the property belonging to the City
of Wilson; thence from said point of beginning, runs South
88' 51' 50" East 628.33 feet to a stake on the run of Little
Hominy Swamp, the westerlymost property line of the property
known as "Thorpshire Farm Subdivision"; thence down the
run of said swamp, South 220 56' 50" East 90.7 feet, and
South 43° 46' 50" East 52.24 feet to a point in the said
swamp, corner of the line of Thorpshire Farm Subdivision
and the northerly property line of the property belonging
to the W.G. Carr, Jr. estate; thence with the Carr line,
South 80' 32' 30" West 679.65 feet to a stake in the Carr
line, the southerly property line of Section Four, Merriment
Subdivision; thence with the Merrfmont Subdivision line,
North 06° 47' 30" West 247.10 feet to a stake, the point
of beginning, according to a survey made by F. T. Green
& Associates, Engineers, dated September 8, 1980. This
being the identical property conveyed to Inez R. Jackson
by deed of Martha Rountree, Executrix under the Will of
Richard Rountree, dated February 27, 1981, and recorded
in Book 1202, Page 775, Wilson County Registry.
