Ms. Maley was not present at the time of the inspection, but was contacted via phone and notified prior to the inspection. The residence is currently a second home and is used approximately two to three times per month.Overall,there were no signs of system failure and the system`appeared to be operational. To the owner's knowledge the septic tank has not been pumped within the last five years. It is recommended that the septic tank be pumped out every five years or when the solids level is found to be more than 1/3 of the liquid depth in any compartment.
