We don't rescind without the permittee's request or some kind of formal notification (which we only did once for a batch of unresponsive renewals many years ago — I doubt we'll do that again anytime soon). This permittee owes two years of annual fees. They were paid up when we renewed this permit in 2018 but have since been delinquent. Your confirmation that they are dissolved and another company operates the site explains why we have not heard from them. If the new company is applying for a new permit, I will inactivate this COC in BIMS and record this correspondence in the repository permit file. They have since gone away, NC SOS lists as admin dissolved. The property is managed by Atlantic Coast Industrial and he leases to a new company. Atlantic will be applying for a permit. How do I rescind the old permit if they have nothing to do with the site and cannot be contacted?
