The Pretreatment, Emergency Response, and Collection Systems Unit (PERCS) of the Division of
Water Resources has reviewed the Headworks Analysis (HWA) for the Charlotte Water - Irwin
Creek WWTP (NC0024945). This HWA submission updated the plant's phosphorous removal rate
and was received on December 20, 2019. Additional information was requested and was received
on May 12, 2020.
The Division concurs with the HWA calculations for phosphorus.
