Hi Rob,
Our system apparently does not recognize the permit until it has been issued, so you will not be able to use that link.
Sorry for the confusion!

Hi Rob,
I have forwarded this to our administration and will have to get back to you with their answer. I am not sure if that is
supposed to happen or not. I definitely have your application on file here with this information from when it was first
submitted.
Thanks,
Lauren

Hi Lauren:
When I go to the report link and enter the permit application number I get a blank form with no data in it. Am I doing
something wrong?

No problem Rob, the permit renewal was buried here since 2015! 1 will just keep a lookout for the information and I can
probably get you the draft permit by the end of the day.
Thanks!
Lauren

Hi Lauren:
I had a major computer crash and unfortunately this request got buried. I will try to get this all updated for you this
week.
The good news is that Metallix has brought on a new EHS manager, so I can give you up to the minute information.
If you have any questions please email me. Again, I'm very sorry for the delay.
Thanks -
Rob

Thank you Lauren. We will review this and get back to you with any changes
Operationally we probably have not changed much, but contact information has certainly changed. As I mentioned, the
facility is in the process of bringing on a new EHS Manager. In the interim if you have any questions please reach out to
me, or to Patrick Fee, Director of Operations (copied on this email).
Thanks again for your assistance.
Rob

Subject: NCS000583 Permit Application
Greetings Rob,
Thank you for your call! I am working through our industrial permit backlog. There is some information I am required to
ask you for to (1.) confirm that the information I have is correct and (2.) make sure the permit adequality serves the
needs of the facility.
What I need from you:
• A spreadsheet summarizing all of the monitoring data that has been collected since the effective date of the
current permit (there may be none since this is a new permit);
• A verification that the information in the renewal application is still is still complete and correct; and
• An explanation of any operational changes since the renewal application was submitted in 2015.
The following link will take you to an online search box where you will be able to enter your permit number and review
the facilities information to make sure it is correct:
https://reports.ncdenr.org/BOE/Open Document/1703191515/CrystalReports/viewrpt.cwr?id=25212&apsuser=BIMS U
&apspassword=blOMs cr%28ddnri59%29&apsauthtype=secEnterprise&cmd=EXPORT&EXPORT FMT=U2FPDF%3AO.
Information can be updated using the links provided below, where applicable:

Owner Affiliation (i.e., someone with the company who is designated to represent the company per signatory
requirements in the permit (e.g., CEO) or another authorized representative): https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-
Owner-Affiliation
Company of Facility Name: https://edocs.deg.nc.gov/Forms/SW-Name-Change
What happens next:
• Once I have the above listed information, I will verify the draft permit information is correct;
• You will receive the draft for a 30-day comment period. During this time we will be able to address any
comments or concerns you have.
• During the same 30-day period, the draft will be sent to a Washington Regional Office staff member for review
and the permit draft will be published for Public Notice.
Once all comments and concerns are addressed, you will be issued the final permit.
Feel free to contact me with any questions as well.
Thanks,
Lauren
