RE: NCG200529, NCG200530
Hello,
I have visited the site of the Beneficiation Plant several times during the construction stages, as well as the ash basins
which are to be utilized to process the construction products. Due to the Coronavirus restrictions which currently
remain in place, I do not feel that revisiting the site is required prior to issuance of a metal recycling NPDES SW permit.
Please let me know if you would like to discuss, or need additional information.
Sincerely,
Thom

Thad, Thom,
Hi. I'm sorry that I forgot to mention that Annette would like the Certificate of Coverages for these facilities issued by
the end of May (if not sooner). I understand that you both have many responsibilities and if you don't believe that you
will have the opportunity to provide regional office comments on these, please let me know and will try to identify other
options. Thx.

Based on the current guidance to minimize the spread of COVID-19, the Department of Environmental Quality has
adjusted operations to protect the health and safety of the staff and public. Many employees are working remotely or
are on staggered shifts. To accommodate these staffing changes, all DEQ office locations are limiting public access to
appointments only. Please check with the appropriate staff before visiting our offices, as we may be able to handle your
requests by phone or email. We appreciate your patience as we continue to serve the public during this challenging
