I reviewed the updated information you sent and had a few follow-up questions. Namely: 1) For impacts 2 and 3 (aerial sewer crossing), on Sheet 2 (of 5) it appears that the grading lines extend into both the wetland and stream. Is this the case? If so these would be permanent impacts and difficult to justify. 2) If the above is not the case, please adjust the plansheet accordingly (a profile view would also be helpful), report the width of the permanently maintained sewer corridor in wetlands (likely to maintained as herbaceous for maintenance purposes), and include that area in your compensatory mitigation plan. Thanks, and please let me know if you have any questions. -Dave Bailey David E. Bai ley2@ usace.a rmy. mi I> Subject: [Non-DoD Source] RE: Magnolia Walk SD - DWR#20200253/SAW-2019-00524 Sue and Dave, Please find attached the updated PCN for Magnolia Park/Magnolia Walk in response to the request for additional information received on April 1, 2020. The impact numbers changed slightly while making sure our impact maps were consistent with the approved site plans, but have been updated in the attached PCN. The Erosion and Sediment Control Plan and Impact Map (WTIM) files are too large to send via email so I will be sending it through our file exchange system immediately after this. Let me know if you don't see it come through or if you need me to send it another way. 1. The request for cross section details was previously provided in response to the USACE request for information on 4/8/2020 (let me know if you need me to resend). 2. Dewatering methods are depicted on the Erosion & Sediment Control Plans, including depictions of the proposed pump -around system and construction sequencing (Stream Construction Sequence details on sheet C11.0/pg 30 of pdf, depiction of pump around on sheet C11.10/pg 40 of pdf) 3. We have updated both the WTIM, plan, and PCN to ensure proposed impacts are consistent across plans. 4. What was previously impact 5 has been removed. "note, buffer impact numbers have been adjusted 5. Impacts 7 and 8 (formerly impacts 10 and 11) are located on the existing pond dam. We are still depicting these impacts to the buffer for reference but have noted they are considered exempt. Please let me know if you require any additional information for your review. Hope you both have a great weekend!
