This inspection was conducted to verify that the facility is operating in compliance with the conditions and limitations specified in Non-discharge Permit No. WQ0012690. A summary of the findings and comments noted during the inspection are provided in the enclosed copy of the inspection report. The Compliance Evaluation inspection was conducted by Division of Water Resources staff from the Asheville Regional Office. Michael Felts, Ken Deaver and Kevin Bischof were present and assisted with the inspection. An Operator In Responsible Charge (ORC) designation Form should be submitted for both the Primary and Backup ORC positions. The effluent flow (to drip field) meter was calibrated May 29, 2018. The meter is due for calibration. The septic tank was pumped by Mayland Septic on May 7, 2019. The sand filter has a fixed cover to exclude precipitation. The cover should be modified to allow for air flow. The facility was non-compliant for the following issue: Standard Soil Fertility Analysis was not conducted.
