I am not sure if it is a definite "NO" or if they have to prove A&M. If you are going to allow thWsle - retaining wall then those steep slopes just to the west of the retaining wall are a NO-NO. Can you write some bullets to that effect? I should be home Wed if you need to call me. Based on Sheet DA-1 provided in the submittal received in the DWQ 401 Unit's office on December 17, 2009 (dated December 16, 2009), it does not appear that Swales 2 and 3 or the pipe discharging to EW2 are directing flow to an existing swale. Per the requirements of the Neuse Riparian Buffer Rule, all stormwater drainage from this site must be discharged through a correctly designed level spreader. Level spreader design requirements are set forth in Chapter 8 of the North Carolina Stormwater BMP Manual, available at: http://h2o.enr.state. nc.u5lsu/bmp forms.htrn 3. Please provide one Level Spreader Supplement Form for each proposed level spreader, available at: http://h2o.cnr.state.nc.us/sulbm forms.ht7n. Please include the Required Items checklist and all items listed therein. f ? gar a.??. f' .I.., Ca ?' ' 1
