Hi Kasey,
Yes, that would be fine, just send in the letter from the lab in with the DMR. We definitely understand
extenuating circumstances. If you can give me the permit number, I will save this email thread with the
associated file as well.
Thanks,
Lauren

Hi Lauren,
I currently writing a DMR for a client for the first semi-annual stormwater monitoring event. However, the lab contacted
us and said there had been an accident with the sample and that they were unable to finish the total suspended solids
(TSS) testing. Our previous TSS was 34 mg/L, well under the 100 mg/L limit. Due to our previous monitoring event of TSS
being well below the limit I was wondering if we could leave out the TSS for this DMR. I have requested a letter from the
lab explaining the accident that resulted in them not being able to conduct the TSS testing and will include this in the
DMR.
Please let me know if this procedure would be adequate. I am also working from home so if you need to reach me, you
can call me on my cell.
Thank you,
Kasey Wattley
