Followup to previous memo
I talked to Jim Stanfill regarding available credit in LT 02. He said after figuring in commitments
to DOT and debits from payments received, EEP has 5,811 LF of stream credit and 7.67 acres of
WL credit available.
He did say that once payment is received they would go out and secure more sites. EEP has an
active watershed plan in LT 02, and they actually had some sites identified that were not pursued
due to DOT scaling back its projected needs.
Although they do not have enough credits to offset the wetland mitigation required for the Macon
County Airport project, they are in compliance with the terms of the MOU. They have one year
from the date of receipt of payment to institute a project that covers the mitigation need.
