I have reviewed your letter received on June 5, 2003 concerning your plans to construct a pond on your property near
Strickland's Crossroads in Nash County. Unfortunately, your application is incomplete and it is not clear what permit or
approval you are applying for. The application form (Preconstruction Form) that you obtained from our website must be
filled out in its entirety (we only received a copy of the first page of the application), seven copies made of the application
and accompanying maps and pay a fee if you are applying for a 401 Water Quality Certification (fee of $200 for less than
one acre of wetland impact or less than 150 feet of stream impact or $475 if impacts exceed those thresholds). Until we
receive this information , your application will remain on hold as incomplete.
