Good Morning,
We are in the process of reviewing the subject fast track sewer extension application and require additional information
before we can continue to draft the permit.
• Section IV. Was not completed. FTA revised accordingly. Please see attached.
• VI. 6 & 7 Flow reduction is marked "no", however the gal/day used to calculate to flow for the project was 255
gal/day. Per 02T.0114(b) flow from each dwelling unit shall be 120 gal/day per bedroom. Please revise
accordingly or provide a flow reduction letter stating that SGWASA is approved for this flow. If the flow rate
changes, a new Flow tracking form will need to be submitted to account for these changes. FTA and FTSE
revised accordingly. Please see attached.
• IX.3. Does the project comply with setback found in the river basin rules is marked "N/A" however the site is
located in the Neuse river basin, and is therefore subject to the Neuse River Riparian Buffer regulations. This
should either be marked "yes" or "no." Please note the Riparian buffer regulations only allow for a 10ft
maintenance corridor. Please revise. Yes has been checked; Noted and revised. Please see attached.
• IX. 4. Does the project require coverage/authorization under a 404 NW or IP or 401 Water quality certification is
marked "yes." A review of our database did not reveal an application for this project. Has the 401 water quality
certification been applied for? 401 Water Quality Certification approved on 9/18/2019.
• Based on the map provided, the proposed sanitary sewer appears to cross a mapped stream. Please verify that
no high priority lines are part of this project. The crossing will be located within approved roadway fill.
• The flow tracking sheet does not have the downstream permit number included. Please provide. FTSE revised
accordingly. Please see attached.
• In the future, please ensure that the narrative includes the number of bedrooms per home, requested flow
allocation, and the specifics for the pump station. Noted.

Please note that incomplete applications increase review time, require that we send requests for additional information,
and delay the issuance of permits. Please ensure all applications are fully completed prior to submittal to expedite
issuance of permits
