This letter is in response of the compliance inspection for the Village Oaks MHP Spray Irrigation Facility
on 24 Jan 2020.
On 24 Jan 2020, a compliance inspection was performed by Helen Perez for the facility and some issues
were noted.
Prior to the inspection, I hired Jamie Rouse to start cleaning several trees that had fallen over the course
of multiple hurricane events. On 18 Jan 2020, the removal of trees started and was completed on 20 Jan
2020. It was then discovered that there were some issues in certain areas. My maintenance crew started
working on the problems that we had found. During this process the grass areas had been disturbed.
During the inspection, these compliance issues were noted.
Since the inspection, I have started making repairs to the spray facility.
We have begun installing the spray risers with shut-off valves. I am in the process of ordering adjustable
spray nozzles for the sprayers that are on the boundaries of the spray site, as well as, the nozzles that
are close to any drainage areas where run-off can occur.
My maintenance crew has been instructed to keep records of any and all repairs that are performed on
the fields.
I have purchased seed to plant for the cover crop to address repaired areas that were damaged from the
tree removal process. Please advise if this will suffice as a suitable cover crop or will additional trees
need to be planted back to the spray area.
Please advise me from here forward if there is a time frame for these repairs. I am moving forward in
the process to rectify these issues as soon as possible.
Please take this into consideration during this evaluation.
Thank you,
Bobby F. Williams
