Fayetteville Clinton Road Dollar General Storm Water Narrative

The site is split between wooded property and a residential mobile home property. The
site is being developed as a new Dollar General store. The site drains from the north to
the south.

The existing impervious area is limited to the mobile home and driveway serving the
mobile home. The proposed development includes a 9,100 sf store with the associated
parking. Storm water will be collected in a drop inlet within the parking lot and through
a roof drainage system. Storm water will then be conveyed through an underground
drainage system into a new on-site wet pond located at the southern end of the site.
The wet pond is designed to mitigate the peak runoff for the 1 yr and 10 yr storm
events. This basin has been designed in accordance with the latest NCDEQ Stormwater
Design Manual. P
