Approximately 544 dry tons (DTs) of alum residuals were distributed in November of 2019. Based on dry tonnage quarterly sampling is required. Due to the nature of the residuals and how they are dried and distributed, quarterly sampling is not practical. Currently, BRWA bulk distributes at one time when needed. Should additional distribution events be needed throughout the year, additional sampling should be conducted in accordance with attachment A of the permit. All nutrient and metals results appeared to be completed and in compliance with permit requirements. Non-hazardous waste characterization: Please note, the non-hazardous waste characterization will need to be completed before permit renewal in 2021. If this has already been completed, please submit with the 2020 annual residuals report.
