The Corps has reviewed the submitted permit application and plans for the for the Cartoogechaye Creek Repair project
at the Killian Family Farm in Franklin, Macon County, North Carolina. The proposed improved ford is exempt from
Department of Army permitting. The propose of this ford is for agricultural use and meets agricultural exemptions for
permitting. The proposed 875 linear feet of stream bank stabilization can be verified under NWP 13.
