Hi Roberto -
Please see the attached qualifiers for the Muddy Creek Effluent BOD samples collected 7/1/19 and 9/3/19. The two
results, >19.9 mg/L and >22 mg/L, are considered valid. Neither of the samples left 1.0 mg/L DO for the final reading for
any dilutions. The results must be reported as "greater than" values.
Thanks,
Cayce

Ms. Holt
Review of the data sets for the past 6 months was conducted and the following questions in BOD reporting was
noted. Samples reported on July 1, 2019 as >19.9 and September 3, 2019 reported as >22.0.
It is required that the laboratory supervisor send this Office a statement indicating whether the above noted data is
considered "valid", "questionable", or "invalid". And if this decision is based upon QC failure and the severity of the QC
failure. Accompanying documentation may be attached to justify any data believed to be invalid.
If you should have any questions in regards to this matter please contact me.

Subject: [External] 2 Day/Week Sampling
Hi Roberto. I am happy to inform you that MCWWTP has completed 6 consecutive months of compliance sampling after
the new permit became effective. As you are aware, during the first 6 months of the new permit with the .3MGD
flow, MCWWTP had to perform 3/week sampling. Now that the 6 months is complete we are requesting permission to
return to the 2/week sampling schedule. This week we have already collected 2 days worth of composite sampling. We
would like to count those 2 as completed for this week if possible. We would return next week to collecting 2
composites per week with a day in between. We would also request a return to 2/week grab samples for Fecal
Coliform. If not, we will finish out this week sampling over 3 days and return to 2day/week next week. Thank you for
your consideration of this request. I look forward to hearing from you. Have a great day.
