The application recieved had pages from a draft permit. Limits in draft should be evaluated in light of current production information. We recommend that monthly monitoring be required for one year and if all data is compliant that frequency be reduced to once a year. Further the dry cleanup requirements that concern batter are not appropriate to this facility as no breading or battering is done here. The condition that 'Floors shall be brushed with a still broom prior to wet cleanueis appropriate. In addition there should be a permit condition that requires screens be maintained on all outflow lines and that the discharge of offal, crab pieces or crab parts be expressly forbidden. r , / Signature of report preparer Water Quality Regional Supervisor /a l /.9 l.)Y Date Version 8/91 Page 4
