RE: NC0003395 Momentive renewal
Permit mod issued January 2009 went out without my knowledge — deletion of TDS and addition / clarification of Total Chloride was
never entered into BIMS.
Formaldehyde limit was in BIMS incorrectly as a Monthly Average.
Those items have been corrected.
Dean — Permittee should use code 00940 for Total Chloride.

Importance: High
Also discovered that BIMS does not have Total Chloride in the requirements like the paper permit does. I just
discovered this when we got a violation hit when data processing put in the number they reported using the
same code as TRC.
Also, think formaldehyde monitoring may be incorrect since it has a weekly limit, but a monthly monitor.
Charles,
What code should they use for Total Chloride as at least 2 in website list?
Thx

Jim,
On the draft/renewal, lets convert Outfall 002 to 001 since 001 was deleted just after last permit was issued
via connection to NC0087847.
Also, need to add TSS monitoring based on what we now know about RO water systems precipitating iron.
Thanks
