Permit: WQ0013398 Owner - Facility: 904 Georgetown Treatment Plant LLC
Inspection Date: 03/19/2002 Inspection Type : Compliance Evaluation Reason for Visit: Routine
Inspection Summary:
Overall, the plant appeared well maintained & operated. Filters: It did appear that the filters were not being back washed
frequently enough based on the amount of solids present on the top and remaining after running the backwash cycle in my
presence. Signs: Need to post the clubhouse with a sign indicating the use of treated wastewater on the courses. Need to
post the plant fencing with emergency contact information at the gate and facing the fairway adjacent to the plant/ponds in
case of an alarm condition. Lift Station: Needs installation of audible alarm and posting with emergency contact
information. Recommendations: 1. Recommend connecting high water alarms to the telemetry system already installed
for the turbidity meter. 2. Recommend permanent housing for the blowers for noise reduction and better protection from
the elements. 3. Recommend permanent cover over the back-up generator to protect it from the elements to help prolong
its life and reduce maintenance.
