Hi Robb, Brad Connell and Tim Brothers were at my property last Friday morning reviewing what we could do with my wall. When we completed the inspection and review for the wall, we discussed the proposed garage structure that I have a CAMA and Minor CAMA permit for and I simply do not have enough space to put up my garage with the current plans that I got submitted and approved. Brad mentioned that even though the set back goes into my existing driveway I should be able to put a garage structure over the already disturbed areas (driveway and walk way) that are on the water side of my property. When I applied for the CAMA permit I was going by the existing structure for measurement of my garage proposal. I went back down to the building department and they said that I needed to work with you to get the permission for the proposed structure which now will only be on the existing disturbed areas (driveway and walk way). The other option is to apply for a variance but I think that is what I'm asking for... Any help and guidance on the best way to move forward with this request will be much appreciated... Send all suspicious email as an attachment to report. spanc. gov Hi Robb, since hurricane Florence, I have noticed that some of my natural sea wall (rocks) have sunken down some and I also noticed that on my other abutting lot which is consolidated now is a wood wall with almost no stone/rock to protect it from the constant barrage of high waves coming in daily from the wake of boats large and small going buy especially during the spring summer and fall. My concern is that the current wooden wall is already showing major signs of deterioration due to this constant barrage of waves etc. When this wall collapse which it will eventually it will really make a mess and cost big bucks to clean up and rebuild. So instead of waiting for that event to happen, I would like to know how I can go about having some natural sea stone brought in to shore up my existing wall and create a more natural setting that will protect my shoreline with natural sea wall stones instead of a wooden wall...
