I want to let you know we are having a lot of difficulty with cell phone signal at the wwtp so I may be delayed in getting back to you. The Ian line for WSWWTP is 704-486-0285. Right now our effluent is looking good, as long as the rain holds off. Clarifier blanket currently is 15, cloudy to 5' which is normal for us. I have approx. 4 ft remaining to waste in digester (50,000 gal) We are next in line for Synagro and I expect them to land apply within 2 weeks. I have made our lab aware of the higher NH3 levels and they are double checking QC's but it seems the elevated numbers are in line with this time last year. I expect dryer weather in May to produce better results. The only issues are coming as a result of upsets from I/I. We are coordinating with our maintenance dept in the upcoming weeks to do a full contact chamber cleaning just as we did last year. Not having any denitrifying solids yet but I'm trying to get ahead of it since we have had several upsets this winter. All things considered we are doing well and eager for construction to begin. I hope you and your dearest fare well during the pandemic, we are taking available precautions in Stanly County and hope to see everyone on the other side of this thing. Best wishes, Tommy Gibbons Tommy Gibbons West Stanly WWTP Stanly County Public Utilities 704-486-0285 (office) 910-605-1284 (cell) Pursuant to North Carolina General Statutes, Chapter 132, email correspondence to and from this address may be considered public record under North Carolina Public record Laws and may be disclosed to third parties.
