Field evaluations are doable but face to face meetings are not advised. Teleconference is the next best option. As for a request for stream determinations, we can accommodate. The express process requires you to complete the attached form and sent back to us along with a topo map indicating the streams of interest with the total area a determination needed, a soil maps showing the same information and the express fees which are: Stream $200 for 1-2 calls/property Origination $500 for 3-6 calls/property Certification $1000 for 7-9 calls/property including $1200 for 10-12 calls/property* Intermittent vs. Perennial $1500 for 13-16 calls/property* Determinations $2000 for 17-20 calls/property* *Stream origin (intermittent vs. perennial stream) calls of more than 20/property would follow a similar schedule Please email the completed documents to me and make the check out to NCDEQ and mail to my attention at 943 Washington Square Mall Washington NC 27889. Do not click links or open attachments unless you verify. Send all suspicious email as an attachment to IVort.spam@' nc. ov Good Morning Lyn, I am supporting an environmental permitting effort for Piedmont Natural Gas' Line 466 Project in Lenoir County, NC. The project is an approximately 2-mile replacement that will cross linear features to include: a river, streams, and other stormwater conveyances. We would like to review four of the streams/ditches for potential exemptions from the Neuse River riparian buffer protection and mitigation program. I understand this is an interesting time with the virus and working environments, but wanted to understand what your team's capacity is to support this and how I can initiate the express review process. The Project includes the abandonment (in place) of approximately 10,560 feet of two 3-inch diameter steel pipelines (Lines 46 and 214) to be replaced with a new 6-inch diameter steel pipeline (Line 466). The Project also will include the installation of a proposed transmission tie-in station, and modifications to the existing Dupont Kinston meter and regulator (M&R) station. The proposed 6-inch pipeline will generally parallel the existing 3-inch pipeline and will allow an increase in the maximum allowable operating pressure (MAOP) from 740 psig to 1000 psig.
