ALL DISTURBED STREAMBANK MUST BE STABILIZED WITH SEEDING, MULCH AND EROSION CONTROL MATTING BYTHE END OF EACH WORKDAY.PROJECT NARRATIVETHIS PROJECT INVOLVES THE CONSTRUCTION OF 3 RIFFLES 30'x175' or 2,250-SF IN SIZE ON THE DAN RIVER IN MADISON,NORTH CAROLINA. THIS PROJECT IS LOCATED ADJACENT TO PROPERTY OWNED BY PINE HALL BRICK. THIS PROJECTINVOLVES ACCESSING THE RIVER BANK AND BUILDING OF IN STREAM STRUCTURES. ALL WORK SHALL BE SUBJECT TO THEDIRECTION AND INSPECTION OF THE PROJECT ENGINEER.THIS PROJECT IS LOCATED IN THE ROANOKE WATERSHED AND THERE IS A FEMA REGULATED FLOODPLAIN IN THE PROJECTAREA. THE DAN RIVER HAS A REGULATED FEMA FLOODPLAIN ASSOCIATED WITH IT. THIS PROJECT WILL TAKE PLACE WITHINTHE OPEN WATER IMPOUNDMENT CREATED BY THE LINDSAY BRIDGE DAM ON THE DAN RIVER. CONSTRUCTION FOR THISPROJECT SHOULD LAST FROM 14 TO 28 DAYS.PROJECT NOTES:THE LOCATION AND ALIGNMENT OF ALL IMPROVEMENTS SHOWN ARE APPROXIMATE. THE FINAL LOCATION AND ALIGNMENTSHALL BE DETERMINED DURING CONSTRUCTION USING BEST PROFESSIONAL JUDGMENT AND APPROVED BY THE PROJECTENGINEER.MATERIALS LISTS ARE PROVIDED AS AN APPROXIMATION ONLY.
