Phase Kl encompasses approximately 39 acres of undeveloped land and will contain 100 single-family residential lots; internal roadways; two stornwater ponds; a large pump station designed for the entire portion of Indian Creek Subdivision located west of Daniels Drive (SR 1453); and, the associated sewer collection, water distribution, and storm drainage infrastructure. Indian Creek West, LLC (Developer) requested a flow of 21,000 gallons per day (gpd) from the Town of Navassa for the 100 lots in Phase K1 based upon the State -approved flow reduction of 210 gpd per lot. In general, the proposed sewer system is comprised of approximately: 3,390 linear feet (If) of 8-inch gravity sewer line; 1,627 If of 10-inch gravity sewer line; 25 sewer manholes; 100 residential lot services; one centralized pump station; 2,232 If of 8-inch sewer force main; 975 If of 10-inch sewer force main; and associated valving, fittings, and appurtenances. The proposed sewer system will be owned and operated by the Town of Navassa. Sewer from this development will discharge into the 12-inch Brunswick County sewer force main located on the north side of Cedar Hill Road (SR 1430) (Permit Number: WQ0032313) and be treated in the Northeast Brunswick Regional Water Reclamation Facility (Permit Number: NC0086819); also owned and operated by Brunswick County.
