Annual Avg Daily Traffic (veh/hr/day): Design/Future: 2570 Year: 2040 Existing: Year: General Project Narrative: (Description of Minimization of Water Quality Impacts) The proposed project will develop an approximately 1.9 mile bicycle and pedestrain trail and a bridge over US 321, and construct a 0.9 mile complete streetscape loop in downtown Hickory that will add disignated space for bicycles and pedestrians. There is one proposed pipe replacement over a jurisdictional stream and one Swale outlet into a jurisdictional stream — riprap is proposed on banks for stabilization and in the base of channels to reduce discharge velocities as needed. Stormwater diversion has been minimized and outlet pipe slopes are minimized to reduce discharge velocities. All BMP's have been incorporated throughout the project to the maximum extent practicable.
