Wastewater Treatment Plant Additions
Davidson County
Dear Mr. Buchanan:
The final plans and specifications for the subject project have been
reviewed and found to be satisfactory. Authorization is hereby granted for the
construction of additions to a 0.6 MGD wastewater treatment plant to consist of
a 90,000 gallon equalization basin, a suction tank with dual pumps for the
primary clarifier, the replacement of the sludge pumps for the primary clarifier
and piping additions and modification.
This is a class IV Wastewater Treatment Plant which requires the operator
in responsible charge to hold a valid Grade IV Certificate.
The North Piedmont Field Office must be notified 24 hours prior to the
removal of .any units from service.
This Authorization to Construct shall be subject to revocation unless the
wastewater treatment facilities are constructed in accordance with the conditions
and limitations specified in Permit No. NC0004626.
Also, enclosed is a copy of WPC Form #50 "Cost of Wastewater 'Treatment
Works." This form is to be completed and returned to this office within thirty
(30) days after the project is completed.
One (1) set of approved plans and specifications is being forwarded to you.
