The green wood is taken to the "Initial Processing" building on the southwest side of the site. At this location, the wood is rough sawn before drying. This building contains circular saws for cutting lumber. Sawdust is broom -swept and contained inside the building. C. The lumber is then dried using kilns in the building labeled "Kiln Drying" on the northwest side of the site. Sawdust is not generated in this building. D. To the east of the "Kiln Drying" building is the "Inventory and Planer (Inventory)' building. This building houses a planer to smooth the surface of the lumber. A dust collection system gathers and contains the sawdust inside the building. This building is also used for storage of dried lumber. E. The "Inventory & Grading after Kiln Drying" building east of the "Inventory and Planar (Inventory)' building is used for sorting and storage after the drying process. Circular saws are also used in this building. Sawdust is broom -swept and contained inside the building. F. The "Inventory with Straight -Line Ripping (Inventory)' building, to the north of the"Green Inventory' storage area, contains additional storage. A dust collection system gathers and contains sawdust in this building generated by the straight-line ripping. The Cronland Lumber Company personnel collect the sawdust produced on the site by sweeping and via the dust collection system. The sawdust is collected and stored in a trailer and is hauled from the site on a regular basis. 1420 DonElson Pike. Suite A-12.
