The proposed sawmill operations are as follows: Logs will be weighed in at the existing scales and unloaded by the existing crane. Wood will be stacked around the crane as was done previously. Wood will be fed into the merchandising system and from there, cut to length logs will feed into the debarker. Logs will flow through the debarker into the infeed to the sawmill where a hydraulic loader will pull logs onto the infeed chain to the saw carriage. The logs will be sawn on a conventional carriage and the resulting lumber off- hipment. Slabs from the carriage will be conveved to the chipper. Waste loaded to conveyors where it will be stacked for s wood from the merchandiser will be chipped into a by-product by the existing chipper_ These chips will be screened and loaded into trucks for transport on a daily basis. Bark from the debarker will be conveyed to a "hog" where It is pulverized into another by-product. This, too, will be loaded into trucks for transport on a daily basis.
