Dear Sir/Madam:
On behalf of South Wake MSW Landfill (SWLFI. Smith Gardner, Inc. (S+GI is submitting this required
Tier 2 discharge monitoring report. The SWLF facility is located in Wake County, North Carolina. The
facility is currently permitted discharge stormwater related to landfilling activities under Certificate of
Coverage NCG120080, General Permit NCG120000.
The facility is required to monitor discharge at the Stormwater Discharge Outfalls (SDOsI 1, 4, and 6.
The site is currently in Tier 2 status at SDO-1 [fecal coliforml. No discharge occurred at SDO-1 during
the month of September. Tier 2 sampling will continue at SDO-1. No discharge was realized at SDO-6
for semiannual sampling during September.
We are providing two (21 copies of the DMR report for this submittal.

On behalf of South Wake MSW Landfill (SWLFI. Smith Gardner, Inc. (S+GI is submitting this required
Tier 2 monitoring. The SWLF facility is located in Wake County, North Carolina. The facility is
currently permitted discharge stormwater related to landfilling activities under Certificate of Coverage
NCG120080, General Permit NCG120000.
The facility is required to monitor discharge at the Stormwater Discharge Outfalls (SODS) 1, 4, and 6.
The site is currently in Tier 2 status at SDO-1(fecal coliforml. No discharge occurred at SDO-1 during
the month of July. Tier 2 sampling will continue at SDO-1. A semiannual sample was collected SDO-4,
which exceeded the benchmark value for fecal coliform. No discharge was realized at SDO-6 for
semiannual sampling during July.
We are providing two [2) copies of the DMR report for this submittal.

On behalf of South Wake MSW Landfill (SWLF), Smith Gardner, Inc. (S+GI is submitting this required
Tier 2 monitoring. The SWLF facility is located in Wake County, North Carolina. The facility is
currently permitted discharge stormwater related to landfiRing activities under Certificate of Coverage
NCG120080, General Permit NCG120000.
The facility is required to monitor discharge at the Stormwater Discharge OutfaRs ISDOsI 1, 4, and 6.
The site is currently in Tier 2 status at SDO-1(fecal coliforml. No discharge occurred at SDO-1 during
the month of August. Tier 2 sampling will continue at SDO-1. No discharge was realized at SDO-6 for
semiannual sampling during August.
