Cumberland County NPDES General Stormwater Permit Dear Mr. Brown: Reference is made to your request for rescission of the subject NPDES General Stormwater Permit. Staff of the Permits & Engineering Stormwater Group have confirmed that the facility no longer needs this stormwater permit. Therefore, in accordance with your request, NPDES General Stormwater Permit No. NCGO80090 is rescinded, effective immediately. If in the future you wish to again have a NPDES General Stormwater Permit to discharge stormwater to the State's surface waters, you must first apply for and receive a new NPDES Stormwater Permit. Discharging without a valid NPDES Permit will subject the discharger to a civil penalty of up to $10,000 per day.
