Analytical monitoring results were within benchmarks for outfall FV002.
Analytical monitoring results showed that COD exceeded the benchmark value for Outfall FV006. This was the 4 h
consecutive sampling results that exceeded the permit benchmark of 120 mg/L for COD. A Tier III Response
Notification was submitted. Some solid materials were found in the bottom of environmental pit #1. Also, stagnant
water is common in the environmental °pit #1 multi -compartments between rain outfall events. This could have
contributed to the elevated COD results. Periodic pumping out of the Environmental Pit #1 water to the sewer has
been implemented to minimize stagnant water. The environmental pit was vacuum cleaned to remove the solid
materials.
