Dear Mr. Basinger:
Daimler Trucks of North America LLC — Mount Holly successfully collected monthly
stormwater samples for Stormwater Discharge Outfalls (SDO) 4001 and #002 for the month of
February in accordance with NPDES General Permit No. NCG030000. Results from the
February 3, 2016 sampling event show an exceedance at SDO #002 for the following parameter:
• Total Suspended Solids (TSS) — 260 mg/L (Benchmark 100 mg/L)
This exceedance of TSS at SDO #002 constitutes four (4) consecutive months (November —
February) of TSS exceedances at SDO #002. In accordance with Part 11 of the Permit, Daimler
is required to notify your office in writing of the fourth exceedance of TSS at SDO 4002.
