17BP.10.C.6 is a culvert replacement project that involves removing existing Cabarrus County Pipe #301 on SR 2608 (Hahn Road) over Unnamed Tributaryto Little Bear Creek.
The existing pipes are 2 @ 112" x 75" Arch CMPs and will be replaced with 2 @ 10' x 8' RCBC. The proposed culvert inverts will be buried 1' below the stream channel bed and
will have a low flow and high flow barrel. Sills will be constructed in each end of the proposed box culvert with floodplain benches installed up and downstream. Another
jurisdication stream flows parallel to the roadway and fill slopes will avoid impacts to this stream. 2:1 fill slopes have been used to minimize the proposed culvert length and
associated stream impacts.
