Send all suspicious email as an attachment to Mff-rt-s—pam@nc.gov Doug Thank you for your email. Attached is the signed Catawba Riparian Buffer Notification Form. Also attached is a satellite view of the property with a highlighted area which shows the path in which supplies will be taken to the wall. Supplies will be taken into the driveway then into the back yard to the sea wall. The driveway and back yard provide a clear path to the wall which needs repaired so no trees of any size will be removed from the property. The total distance from the driveway, through the back yard to the sea wall is approximately 200 ft. Please let me know if you need any more information. First, I noticed that you didn't attach a Catawba Riparian Buffer Notification Form. I have attached a form for you to fill out. Secondly, I will need to see a description and path showing how any equipment will be brought down to work on your project and approximate length and width of such path. Thirdly, as per the Catawba River Buffer Rules, no trees are to be removed of a 3" diameter at shoulder height. If it is required to remove those trees in order to do the work, then this office must be notified, further photographic documentation shall be provided, and they must be replaced with trees of a 3" diameter at shoulder height and of at least 6'-8' in height. If you have any further questions, feel free to contact me.
