The Division is returning the enclosed check (#1129868) recently received at the Central Office here in
Raleigh. The check is ostensibly for payment of the civil penalty & enforcement costs associated with case
MV-2019-0023.
Case MW-2019-0023 was paid & closed on 1/14/2020, via check # 1136485, dated 12/19/2019. We do not
understand why the enclosed check was submitted for a case that has already been closed, nor do we
understand why it was back -dated to October 24, 2019.
