Fast Track Sewer System Extension Cover Letter
Dear Mr. Heim,
As per the instructions for Form FTA 04-16 Fast Track Sewer System
Extension Application, the following are included in this application
package.
1. One original application and supporting documents.
2. Fast Track Sewer System Extension Cover Letter.
3. Application Scan of Fee of $480.00 payable to NCDEQ (being sent by
USPS).
4. Form FTA 04-16, Application.
5. Form FTSE 10-18, Flow Tracking / Acceptance for Sewer Extension
Applications, approved by Mr. Nathan Clark, Town Manager, Town of
Maggie Valley, NC for Maggie Valley WWTP.
6. Site Map identifying the entire project area and closest surface water.
The Tiny Homes at Jonathan Creek Project is a privately owned sewer
system and pump station in Waynesville, NC. The Town of Maggie Valley,
NC is accepting the responsibility and maintenance of the 110LF of 4" ABS
directional bored casing pipe and 11OLF of 2" poly SDR 11 pressure pipe
from the Jonathan Creek NCDOT ROW on either side of the roadway into
the existing Maggie Valley District Sanitary Sewer manhole. This is a
requirement of the NCDOT that the casing and pressure pipe be the
responsibility of the Town of Maggie Valley to encroach on the state ROW.
There is 170LF of 2" poly SDR11 pressure pipe and 172LF of 6" SDR35 PVC
pipe with cleanouts to provide internal sewer piping to the lift station. This

private sewer system will service four (4) tiny homes and two (2) RV sites
developing a 1,200 GPD (0.0012 MGD) actual average flow to the Maggie
Valley WWTP Facility. The Maggie Valley Facility permit number is
NC0056561 with a permitted flow of 1 MGD.
