Comments from Ms Donna Hood:
1. Clarification that the 'cold' box checked for mitigation type was a mistake and only the 'warm' box was
supposed to be checked. This is not on the ePCN but on the submitted file for the `compiled PCN'. I am
guessing this was a copy of the entire PCN that was submitted to the Corps. Anyway, an email response
correcting that is fine. I realize it is correct on the ePCN submittal.
Page 6 of the attached revised PCN has been revised to remove the checked 'cold' box.
2. What are the temporary impacts on McDowell Creek? Are they in addition to the permanent impacts or the
same footprint as the permanent impacts?
The temporary impacts on McDowell Creek were requested to provide the contractor 101f upstream and 101f
downstream (201f total each site) to install cofferdams or pumped diversions in order to work in dry conditions
necessary to properly key -in the rip -rap down the bank and into the toe of the channel bed. These are
counted separately from the permanent impacts.
3. On the ePCN the incorrect box is checked on Part G, 3. Cumulative Impacts. An indirect and cumulative
impact study has been done on this project prior to submittal, so all of that question has been answered
incorrectly.
Part G, 3 Indirect and Cumulative Impacts have been revised per your comments in the attached PCN.
