The bank stabilization lines impacts are shown as permanent impacts. If preferred, we can change the description "bank stabilization" to "floodplain bench". Flood plain bench impacts are accurately accounted for. Description with associated drawings for proposed temporary channel impacts: There will be a temporary diversion channel constructed around the proposed box culvert during construction (construction sequence attached to this response). The temporary impacts take into consideration the stream channel that is relocated outside of that which is permanently impacted. NCDOT can describe the temporary channel impacts as "dewatering" if that is preferred.
