Servies February 24, 2020 Fred and Patricia Fogle 10023 Saw Mill Road Charlotte, NC 28278 Subject: Shoreline Stabilization Permit Application 10023 Saw Mill Road - Lake Wylie Mr. and Mrs. Fogle: Our office was recently notified of a proposed Shoreline Stabilization Permit Application for the subject address. Please be aware that the subject property is located within the critical area of the Lower Lake Wylie Water Supply Watershed which requires a 50-foot undisturbed lake buffer; see attached map for reference. The buffer regulations allow for excavation and shoreline stabilization as long as a plan is reviewed and approved by this office. Charlotte -Mecklenburg Storm Water Services has no objection to the shoreline stabilization, subject to the following conditions: • A pre -construction meeting is required prior to any work being done on the site. Please contact Ron Eubanks for this inspection at 980-7214191. • No trees are to be removed or damaged within the 50-foot buffer unless approved by the inspector during the pre -construction meeting. Any unapproved disturbances to the buffer will be considered a violation of the Lower Lake Wylie Water Supply Protection regulations. • All disturbed ground must be stabilized upon project completion.
